About the Thailand Digital Arrival Card
The electronic Thailand arrival card (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is shortened to TDAC. It lets visitors submit required trip details before they reach Thailand, including the flight, accommodation, and passport, so the Thai government can keep track of arrivals.
Whether or not you need a visa, every foreign national must complete it online. Paper arrival cards are not handed out on the plane.
When did the TDAC start?
The measure has been in effect since May 1, 2025, and every foreign visitor entering Thailand must complete it. There is no exception.
Where do you fill in the TDAC?
The official site for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card is https://tdac.immigration.go.th. If you see a different address, treat it as a scam site and keep your personal data off it.
Does the TDAC cost anything?
The Thailand arrival card iscompletely free. Any site that asks you to pay during the application is a scam. Watch for that.
Still need data for the trip?An eSIM does not need to be mailed. Set it up on the phone and you are online, with no card swap. Match the days and data yourself. Buying at the last moment before boarding still works.
What you need for the arrival card
Before you fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card, have these ready:
- Personal details: name, nationality, date of birth, and similar items
- Passport details: the biodata page. The passport must still have more than 6 months of validity before you enter Thailand.
- Flight details: flight numbers and dates for arrival in Thailand and departure from Thailand.
- Accommodation details: the name and address of the hotel or place you are staying.
How to fill in the Thailand arrival card
The electronic arrival card does support a Chinese interface. It is Simplified Chinese, which still makes the form much easier. The steps below show how to fill it in and what to watch.
Step 1: Open the TDAC site
Go to the Thailand arrival card site (https://tdac.immigration.go.th). The homepage is in English. Use the flag at the top right to switch to Chinese.
Step 2: Enter personal details
Personal details split into two parts: the passport biodata page, and personal information. Note thatevery field can be filled only in English or numbers.
Step 3: Enter the flight
Next, enter the date you arrive in Thailand, where you are coming from, the purpose of the trip, the flight number, and similar details. For mode of transport, choose COMMERCIAL FLIGHT.
The purpose-of-travel options are not fully localized into Chinese. Use the figure below as a translation reference.
Then enter the date you expect to leave Thailand and the flight number. Ifyour departure date from Thailand changes at the last minute, you do not have to submit the form again, as long as you leave within the 60 visa-free days allowed.

Step 4: Enter accommodation
If you are only transiting through Thailand and not staying overnight, check the “transit passenger” field. Otherwise you must give a Thailand accommodation address. For the Chinese labels of accommodation type, use the figure below:
The address also asks for the province, district, and subdistrict. The example below uses one hotel address to show how to split them.
Step 5: Health declaration
This step asks for countries you visited in the two weeks before arrival. If you traveled in another country before Thailand, you must fill it in. If you are departing from home, you do not.
To file for relatives or friends as well, next tap “Add other travelers.” If not, continue to “Preview.”
Step 6: Submit
After you tap “Preview,” the system shows everything you entered and asks you to confirm it. If it is correct, enter your email, read the terms, and submit.
When that is done, tap “Download” to save the electronic arrival card.
Step 7: Confirmation email and QR code
If you did not download the file, that is fine. The email also brings a registration confirmation and the electronic arrival card.
